New Day Journal Facilitator Training

Are you called to accompany others on their grief journey? Presented by the Archdiocese of Hartford Office of Faith Formation and Parish Life, learn how to facilitate parish bereavement support groups using The New Day Journal, a faith-based program featuring prayer, Scripture, reflection, journaling, and group sharing.

We will be offering two options:

In-person Option: September 8 and 10
10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Church of the Resurrection, Wallingford
Full participation in both sessions is expected.

Virtual Option: September 8, 15, 22 & 29, 2026
Time: 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 pm
Location: Online

Note: Individuals who are currently coping with significant, unresolved grief are encouraged to focus on their own healing journey before participating in this facilitator training.
