Blessing of the Animals

Bring your pets and join us for the Blessing of the Animals in honor of the Feast of St. Francis. This tradition is inspired by St. Francis, known for his deep love of all God’s creatures.

We will gather Monday, October 5, following the 8:00 am morning Mass, at approximately 8:30 am, in front of St. Francis Church near the statue of St. Francis. Pets should be on leashes or in secure carriers. Photos of pets can also be presented if bringing them to the church is not possible. Younger children may bring their stuffed animals to be blessed, too.

St. Francis, pray for us!
