Memorial Day

The Pastoral Center will be closed Memorial Day, Monday, May 25.

The 8:00 am Mass will be be celebrated at St. Peter Church (not St. Francis) and will be offered for deceased members of the St. Peter Drum Corps. The church will be closed following the Mass.

Memorial Day – originally known as Decoration Day – is a United States federal holiday, observed annually on the last Monday of May. It was created in the aftermath of the American Civil War as an occasion to decorate the graves of the war dead.

Memorial Day commemorates those who have died in military service to their country. Remember the brave in prayer as you enjoy a safe holiday!
