OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation of Adults) in Spanish

All are welcome to an enriching program of learning that will bring a closer understanding of the Catholic faith, our prayers, the Order of the Mass and God’s Word. If you are hungry to learn more about your Faith, please join us on this rewarding journey.

OCIA CANDIDATES must register at the parish office. Registration with a meet-and-greet was held Sunday, August 23. If you missed it, please contact Dcn. Angel Garcia – before classes begin – at 203-577-7130 (text ONLY) for more information.

Classes will begin 6:00 pm, Thursday, September 3 and will be held weekly at St. John Paul the Great Pastoral Center, 160 Main St. Candidates or Catechumen will be welcomed into the Faith at the Easter Vigil on March 27, 2027.

We are also looking for adults to teach classes on rotating sessions throughout the year. Leader guidebook and support will be provided.
