Hartford for Life is throwing their 2nd Annual Fundraising Barn Dance

Add Sat, Jul 20 @ 7:00 PM - 9:30 PM

at St. Anne's Shrine 1550 South Main St., Waterbury

No previous experience required. A professional caller will guide dancers through the steps starting at 7:30 pm.
No entrance fee or pre-registration is needed to attend, but free-will donations will be collected at the door for the benefit of Carolyn’s Place Pregnancy Care Center in Waterbury.

What is a Barn Dance, exactly? Also known as contra-dancing, a barn dance incorporates several styles of old-timey group dance and country-style dance including line-dancing. They are fun, easy to replicate, clean and to the beat of the music. You don't even need to bring a dance partner, just your favorite dancing boots or shoes, and maybe a western hat! Dress in layers – it's a lot of cardio!
